75th Anniversary events
Join us for a weekend of festivities
January 21st and 22nd!
First thing Saturday morning we are hosting a “Dress your favorite decade” race, so if you’re into wearing wool pants and Norwegian sweaters? Wear it! If you have an old neon one piece? Wear it! Stretch pants and puffy jacket with shoulder pads? Wear it, but only if you tease your bangs and throw on the clear frame Oakley’s! We’ll be passing out prizes to the best costume and the fastest times in men's and women's divisions!
- Registration at the Info Desk in the Base Lodge from 9am until 11am.
- Race times: 10am-noon.
- Race is free, but you must have a lift ticket!
- Prizes: Fastest times in each division will receive 1 Sun Mountain Card plus a commemorative 75th Anniversary pint glass and pin. Best costumes in each division will receive a $50 Potter Brothers gift card plus a commemorative 75th Anniversary pint glass and pin!
Saturday Night - TICKETS FOR THE PARTY ARE SOLD OUT - we’re pulling out the linen and polishing our dancing shoes, because we’re throwing a party that you won’t want to miss. There will be really great music, super good food, and most important of all… you and the people like you that love Bromley, and are looking for a reason to toast the mountain and all we love about Bromley!

Sunday it’s time to show your Bromley pride! Pull out all your old season passes and bring’em with you to Bromley. When you show us more than 5 years’ worth of passes you’ll get your name entered into a drawing for a really neat Bromley gift bag that includes a 75th Anniversary fleece from Potter Brothers! If you show us the most season passes of anybody on the day you’ll win a Bob Ellis 75th Anniversary print! So start searching through the pockets of your old jackets, it’s time to show that Sun Mountain pride. Raffle will take place at the info desk.

You may have noticed some stellar new decorations on the top floor of the base lodge this season. Longtime Bromley afficionado and professional photographer, Bob Ellis, has put in a pile of hours on preserving some great vintage prints of Bromley in years past to help make our celebration one to remember.
