Event Details
Calling all Free-heelers! Fun for the entire family...experienced telemarkers, or those just getting started! The Kåre Andersen Telemark Festival is one of the oldest events of it's kind in the U.S.; a full day of great Tele events to celebrate our passion for the sport, and each year we look forward to reuniting with old friends and making new. Join us!
Cost:
$60 - Adult Tele Festival package (includes Lift Ticket, Race, Clinic)
$45 - Juniors (under 18) Tele Festival package
$35 - Season Pass Holder Tele Festival package (Race & Clinic)
$30 - "Kåre Special" All day Rental package
Schedule:
8 - 9:30am - Registration, upstairs in the Base Lodge
9:50am - Race Meeting at the top of East Meadow
10 - noon - Racing! Citizen and Open divisions
1 - 3pm - 4 Clinics: Beginner, Intermediate, Bumps, Back Country/Trees)
3:30pm - Aprés Tele Festival in the Wild Boar Tavern
4:30pm - Awards Ceremony and Raffle
Race Course: 2 Runs, Classic Telemark Style
10 Gates (Tele turns)
Small Drop Jump (Land in Tele),
Traverse to Uphill Gate and Herringbone Turn
10 more Gates (Tele turns) to Finish
